hitex warranty

The Supplier warrants that the Hitex Plaster System:

	Performs to the requirements of the NZ building code provided normal maintenance is undertaken.  Refer to the guidelines in the Hitex Maintenance Manual.
	Complies with the Hitex Producer Statement.
	Has been completed in accordance with the “Works Compliance Record”.

MATERIAL WARRANTY

The supplier warrants that the products have been manufactured to specification.  The supplier will replace free of charge the product if the manufacture of the product proves to have been defective within a period of twelve months from the date of purchase.

SYSTEM WARRANTY (Applicator Tradesmen using Hitex)

The supplier warrants that it has completed training and is a current Hitex Registered Applicator.  If the supplier incorrectly applies Hitex products it will repair free of charge any installation within a period of five years from the date of installation.  Refer to the applicator’s Work Compliance Record for types of systems used.

Hitex Building Systems claims that the Hitex Plaster System, “Hitex” when maintained in accordance with the current Hitex “Maintenance Manual” will satisfy the following requirements of the NZ Building Code

B1            structure
B2            durability (15 years warranty subject to normal maintenance)
E2            external moisture
E3            internal moisture (health and safety)
F2            hazardous materials
H1           energy efficiency (R1.5 min)
